Never thought I would like the Ally McBeal show but I did, the best of Ally by Vonda Shepard is a CD that I can listen too over and over.

For fans of Ally, this will bring back the warm memories of how Vonda's music was so much a part of every show; especially the last 3 minutes of reflection on ...all that has just happened.

Not that he deserves it, but I'm going to give David E. Kelly the benefit of the doubt and assume he hired Vonda ironically. Her covers of great songs are even more hopeless than the state of Ally's love life, and far less endearing. I try to mute as much of her songs out of the show as much as possible, and am very much baffled that do many of these soundtrack CDs were created.
