On the cover it says "Featuring Buddy Emmons". The steel guitar player on most of the cuts on this album is actually Buddy Charleton, who wrote "Almost To Tulsa" and who came on the Texas Troubadours after Emmons.

This is a super CD of instrumentals played by musicians at the top of their game. All of the old favorites (like Steel Guitar Rag)are here along with some new tunes (like Almost to Tulsa) written by members of the group in the 60s and early 70s. It is highly recommended to anyone who likes the older instrumental playing of steel and lead guitar, with superb backup.
