Summary: A masterpiece from a legend 2008-09-05
Comment: Truth be told, I bought this CD many years ago and foolishly gave it away. I just recently bought another from Amazon. The only reason I can give for giving it away in the first place is temporary insanity. EmmyLou Harris is one of my absolute favorite artists and then to have Vince Gill (another of my favorites) singing harmony is beyond wonderful. This is pure joy from beginning to end.

Comment: I have been an Emmylou Harris fan since both she and I were young. I recently purchased the Angel Band CD and I have to say it is the best of her sound that I own. There is not one song on the CD that I do not thoroughly enjoy. This sounds like the real Emmylou to me. I find it addictive and often listen to it several time in succession.

Comment: Emmy Lou Harris is peerless. She is in a class all her own. No one I can think of pours herself out to sing like she does. This cd works on so many levels. Please treat yourself. It will be a blessing, if you want it.
