Just got the CD's and plugged in - expecting low quality recordings from a bygone era.
Nope! Big smiles. Own loads of bluegrass, but this is an absolute banjo strummin', Stringbean singin' happy feast for the ears.

Always a fan of String Bean and his old driving style of banjo picking. This is a good collecion of his songs. I could almost hear him say, "How sweet it is!"

I loved Stringbean when i was growing up saw him on Hee Haw many times and he was so funny but boy could he play that banjo. Love this cd didn't think i could find anything on him but as usual Amazon had it. If you love old fashion banjo pickin then this is the cd for you.
