Amazon doesn't list the artists in its description but this very attractively packaged set traces bluegrass from its roots in the recordings of the Monroe Brothers, Dave Macon, Charlie Poole and others to the "first-generation" founders incl. Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, Jimmy Martin, and the Stanley Brothers, to the various branches of "second-generation" bluegrass acts liek the Dillards, Ricky Skaggs and the Country Gentlemen. All smartly packaged in a fold-out digipack.
