Summary: Great Entertainment 2008-05-24
Comment: This is the Cherryholmes: A beautiful, talented family band. Jere, the father, meticulouly thumps his bass while wife Sandy sings and dances enthusiastically while playing a great mandolin. Daughter Cia plays the guitar or banjo. Son Skip also plays the guitar, while other son BJ and younger daughter Molly play mirror image fiddles (one left-hand and one right-hand). Meanwhile, all sing in sweet harmony. The one drawback of this CD is that you don't get the joy of watching them perform.

Part of their perfection is just a touch of imperfect roughness. This band does not sound as if they were produced and polished by some industrial bluegrass institution; they are a human family, just like the rest of us, one loaded with inspiration and talent.

I own all of their CD's, and in my opinion, this is their best CD to date.

Summary: A Stunning Musical Family 2008-05-20
Comment: If you ever get the chance to see Cheryyholmes in person, you will not be disappointed. This another great family of talented musicians, singers and dancers. Cherryholmes has graced the stages from bluegrass festivals to the Grand Ole Opry. Cia, Molly, B.J. and Skip are the four kids joining dad Jere, and mom Sandy. This is bluegrass at it's finest.

Summary: Amazing Cherryholmes 2007-07-17
Comment: This album by this extremely talentad family will serve the Bluegrass listeners a wake up call. A mighty fine recording. Each member of the family is talented. Both the vocals and instrementals are very very good.
You won't be dissapointed with this purchase.

Summary: Great hard driving bluegrass 2007-04-29
Comment: I am more of a acoustic fan and not really a Bluegrass junkie, but I have now seen this group 3 times and am now getting more into bluegrass. This group(famiy) is absolutly great!!! They put on a great show and the kids have continued to improve. Cia (23/24) plays a great banjo and has that great high soaring voice that a truly great bluegrass band needs. BJ the oldest son (19) has simply imroved tremendously over the last 2 years and is now in my opinion the best fidder in bluegrass. His sister Molly Kate (14) plays the fiddle left handed and with a more mellow sound but togother with BJ are an unbelevable twin fiddle combo. Ship (17) plays a really great hard driving guitar.

They play over 300 dates a year and run do not walk to the next show. Their live show is fast-paced oldtime 2 micrphone performance and simply the best show in all of bluegrass.

They are generous with their time and great with their fans, they make you feel like one of the family.
