Comment: This CD has some wonderful songs by John Conlee. My favorites are "Lady Lay Down", "She Can't Say That Anymore", and "Friday Night Blues".

Summary: Rose Colored Glasses and so much more... 2007-12-17
Comment: Ordered this for my sweetheart because Rose Colored Glasses is one of his all-time favorite songs. I didn't realize John Conlee sang so many of the country songs that were popular in the 80's (I heard 'em because I was actually a country fan back then). This collection includes the best of the best. I wonder if we requested his songs on the radio if there would be a John Conlee resurgence! He's a little "old school", but he can swing from sad and soulful to humorous and uplifting in a heartbeat. You can't go wrong with this collection...worth every tiny penny!

Comment: I bought this CD strictly for the one song "Rose Colored Glasses". I should probably have downloaded the one title as I don't care for the rest of his CD.

Comment: This is a good album. I don't think that John Conlee was ever a huge name in country music, but he has a really distinct voice, very memorable. He always sounded to me as if he were singing through slightly clenched teeth, but I like it.
