Album Description
"Cold Warriors" is Erosonic's 7th album. In keeping with the theme of the first six, it continues the legacy of the American fighting man and woman. Beginning at WWII, the songs detail the bravery and sacrifice — and fun — of America's warriors in the Cold War. Often it was anything but cold. With the loss of many tens of thousands of lives in Korea, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and other "mini" wars fought during the timeframe, "cold" was absolutely the wrong word. Defending America in the Cold War, as in other times, took us all over the world. We worked and trained and flew with people who shall remain close to us for the rest of our lives. In some instances we brought them back home as family members. It was fun, but sometimes the flying and the training scared the living hell out of us. Thank God, the Cold War is over; but, today's world is no less deadly than it was then.
