Album Description
"God Bless America" is Erosonic's 9th album of patriotic music. September 11, 2001, brought the harsh and tragic reality of war to mainland America. The shocking events of that terrible day gave us pause to remember how precious are our freedoms, how integral to our way of life is the security of the homeland, and how profoundly grateful to God we are that we're Americans. Dick Jonas is joined on the album by his youngest daughter, Angela Jonas, accompanied by his nieces, Donna Wilkerson and Susan Bailey. The first half of the album takes us back to our American roots as a proud nation "under God." It is a flashback to the girls' teenage years when they sang and called themselves "the Relations." The second half continues the legacy of the American warrior with battle songs from WWI, the Korean era, and Vietnam. The last two songs, written in the 1960s, will remind you how much you detest TV commercials, and provide a nostalgia check of how irrestible is the American cowboy — who, if he had lived in our day would probably have been a fighter pilot.
