Constantly asked by fans when he is going to release new music, country star Blake Shelton is giving the people what they want. Shelton has announced that he will release a value-priced album featuring six brand-new songs, entitled Hillbilly Bone, on March 2. 'I talk to my fans every day and the first question they ask me is, 'When are you going to release a new record?'' says Shelton, whose last studio album was 2008's 'Startin' Fires.' 'I want to give my fans new music more often and at a lower price. The fact that people will be able to get the new music for less money is a gift to my fans who have been behind me every step of the way.' The first single is the title track, a comedic, sing-along duet with Shelton's long-time friend Trace Adkins.

Summary: Love the new stuff 2010-06-08
Comment: I love Blake Shelton he has an awesome voice! I was a little disappointed to find that only 6 songs were on here but then again that was my fault because I didn't really look closely at the album. None the less, I still love it!

Summary: can I get a version without the jokes 2010-05-08
Comment: I actually like the songs and would have given it more stars, except for the jokes which are part of the song tracks. They may be cute the first time you listen to the CD, but if you want to listen to the CD over and over or put it on for background music, you don't need to hear them. They are annoying and reduce the enjoyment of the CD.

Summary: Confused?? 2010-05-06
Comment: I have been a fan of Blake S. for some time. However, I am not a fan of someone taking credit for someone else's music. Why is he releasing Rhett Akins "Kiss My Country A$$"? Not sure if I will buy this one, atleast until I know the answer. Besides, Rhett did it way better.

Summary: A Disappointment 2010-04-11
Comment: I pre-ordered this because I like Blake Shelton's music, but this was a waste of money. The music was probably OK, but to include old radio weather reports ad nauseum makes it a rip-off. Next time, if there is one, I will carefully preview every song.
