Isaacs Bluegrass-Preserved

The Issacs are a 'modern family gospel act', but they also have an
'open minded take' on the breadth of country music, and it's acoustic cousin bluegrass.
Their bluegrass is pretty much right in line with modern trad 'rules',
and their country has lots of tasteful bluegrass touches to it.

What set's them apart is the true modern gospel lyrics, that keep
the heart and soul in the music, and yet doesn't hector or rant,
or make you feel less faithful for not hewing to any one sect's values.
That in itself is refreshing. Their Lord speaks to ALL, through their gorgeous, joyful singing and playing. We can all feel we are IN the Issacs's family, regardless of our choices of faith because their songs are universal and not exclusionary in character and meaning.

I saw the Isaacs in concert and liked what I heard. This album is a must for people who like bluegrass gospel music.

My husband loves Bluegrass and has a huge collection of CDs. This is one of his favorites.
