this box set is simply incredible.

not only are the main albums you would want by the duo included, but you're getting 6lps on 3cds!

it came in a lovely wooden box and i thought that makes it more sturdy than most box sets i own. as far as the music, well if you dont' know anything about the sound of les paul and mary ford, then i don't know what to tell you.

I took tracks from this set for my deejay work. These all originated from record albums, so the track listing is defined accordingly. To satisfy my Les Paul library wants, I needed to additionally obtain "I Really Don't Want to Know", "Hummingbird", "Cinco Robles", and "It's Been a Long, Long Time".

Here are the track numbers for their U.S. Billboard hit singles. The peak position is indicated for the given year.

CD 1 - THE HIT MAKERS/ TIME TO DREAM:
1. How High the Moon - Number 1 in 1951 (also R&B Number 2)
2. Josephine - Number 12 in 1951 (Les Paul solo)
3. Mockin' Bird Hill - Number 2 in 1951 (also Country Number 7)
4. Whispering - Number 7 in 1951 (Les Paul solo)
5. Vaya Con Dios - Number 1 in 1953 (also Number 7 in UK)
6. I'm a Fool to Care - Number 6 in 1954
7. The World Is Waiting for the Sunrise - Number 2 in 1951
8. Meet Mister Callaghan - Number 5 in 1952 (Les Paul solo)
9. Tiger Rag - Number 2 in...Read more
