Okay but not nearly as good as the previous CD's,

I have been a Rascal Flatts fan since they showed up with their first CD. I love their music and how they present the lyrics is beautiful. I expected this CD to be better than the previous one's. As always the singing is beautiful and the harmony is flawless but the songs all sound the same. Previous CD's had a mix of slow love songs, jumpy songs about good times, and sweet tear jerking songs about faith. This one feels more like pop music with a little bit of country. I usually love 9 out of 10 songs they have but this time I only liked 3 songs. I am disappointed by this CD.

I find 95% of country music to be absolutely detestable - but the Flatts grabbed my attention with their first CD and became one of the few exceptions to my rule. I was surprised that, despite their country sound, I enjoyed the experience. Their previous discs have always been great -- but there's always been that one song (or two) that I have to skip over. With Nothing Like This, they finally release an album that I enjoy from beginning to end - not one track on this disc is skip-worthy. Highly recommended!

A Welcome New Collection,

After the underachieving (and underrated) Unstoppable, it is great to see Rascal Flatts climbing the charts again with their current single "Why Wait," the lead off track to their new album. From there, they flow into the song "Easy" which has a very catchy hook and a nice duet vocal by Natasha Bedingfield. It's a typical easy-going Flatts album, but it's damn good, and there are certainly some standout tracks that could take RF to the top of the charts once more.
All in all, it's not quite as good as "Unstoppable" or "Me & My Gang" (their two best albums in my opinion), but it could end up being a close third, for me.
Standout Tracks:
"Why Wait"
"Easy"
"Nothing Like This"
"All Night to Get There"
"Summer Young"
