Comment: Excellent CD. Real country, not today's poor excuse for country music. If you enjoy real country music, you'll enjoy this.

Summary: great contemporary country music sampler 2010-04-11
Comment:
I agree with all the other positive reviews of this fine sampler cd. The songs range from funny to tragically sad. I found myself enjoying the cd more and more after repeated listenings, and I found that I liked certain artists enough to go ahead and purchase more cd's by those artists.

Comment: I had been looking for this CD in stores and couldn't find it, only on Amazon. I had the volumn 2 and loved it, volumn 1 is it's equal. You will enjoy it. The same artist are on both. Modern Country.

Summary: Great CD for a Variety of Country 2009-09-19
Comment: I don't care for the real "twangy" classic country as much as the contemporary kind. This is a great mix that I listen to in my car all the time. A few years ago, I never cared for country at all, but I'm slowly becoming a fan.
