This review is from: O Mickey Where Art Thou (Dig) (Audio CD) Elizabeth Cook's version of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" alone is worth the price of this CD. And then there are eleven icing-on-the-cake foot-tapping tunes! Collin Raye's "Circle of Life" is the very best version of this song, of which all versions are great, because it's the one that makes you want to dance. There are also moving ballads, like "Baby Mine" and "When She Loved Me." No one can listen to "The Bare Necessities" or "When I See an Elephant Fly" and not smile. Anyone who enjoys cheerful, happy-go-lucky music will adore this CD. 6 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By Wisc. Jim "jimwfly" (Sun Prairie, WI USA) - See all my reviews This review is from: O Mickey Where Art Thou (Dig) (Audio CD) My wife saw the title and said, "I don't want to hear it, since all the songs will sound like the music heard while standing in line at Disney World!" Well now she loves it, and so do I. Quite of good job of arranging and producing a very good album. It'll be a great addition to the library of both bluegrass fans as well as Disney lovers. 6 of 7 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: O Mickey Where Art Thou (Dig) (Audio CD) I first heard of this album last week while listening to Sunday Night Grass on a local Bluegrass station. I was ready to change the channel (thinking that it was going to be horrible) when they began to play "Baby Mine". I was instantly hooked! I cannot believe how good this album is! What a wonderful idea--Disney music turning Bluegrass! I highly recommend it. |
