I was so excited to pop The Collingsworth Family's new CD in this morning on my way to work, and it was the perfect length for my drive. Song number one started as I left my driveway and song number 12 ended as I pulled into my parking spot at work.
As usual, their voices blend so beautifully and the words of the songs speak to my heart.
Song #1 - God's Family
A joyful expression of our kinship with fellow believers. I was singing along as I drove.
Song #2 - Tell The Mountain
An encouraging song when you're facing circumstances that seem overwhelming, and very well done by Philip Jr.
Song #3 - Joy Unspeakable
Love the words and harmony on this. Upbeat, bouncy and toe-tapping.
Song #4 - Jesus Is All I Need
Well done, Kim. The title says it all!
Song #5 - Nothing's Worrying Me
This song has an 40s or 50s jazzy feel to it and besides the message in the song is extremely fun to listen to...Read more

FANTASTIC!!! Whenever I get a new CD, I usually hope for one or two new "greats" that my trio can sing in church. When I popped this Cd in , I found myself wanting to sing all of them!! Attention to all Collingsworth-Family-Lovers :
Your collection isn't complete without this fantastic new CD!!!
I also was impressed with the way that Phillip Jr. and Olivia's voices are maturing.
Keep up the good work!
Beyond AWESOME!!!,

Wish I could give it 10 stars :o)) The most treasured memories of my life are two cousins who had the most perfect harmony this side of Heaven that I got to listen to back in the 50s-80s, who sang in the same style as the Collingworths slower songs (especially song #11), and I've always compared other singers to the bar they set. No other group has ever come close until now, and the Collingsworth sound is the same perfection. I've got the CD on repeat and it takes me back in time and feels like my cousins are right here in the room with me.
I usually listen to a CD a few times then get tired of it and put it away, this one will stay on top of the stack from now on in my sewing room.
