My current favorite sing-along, lift-me-up, make-me-think CD,

SWITR sing complex, rhythmic songs of passion, change and hope. And, in my opinion, this is their best. Every song is a winner. This is the one I grab when I'm not sure what I want to hear, and then I find myself just hitting the repeat key on the player. With the current research showing that complex music played for toddlers increases ultimate brain function, this will be a first birthday present for my grandson.

This is a great cd. There are one or two pieces that I wasn't that thrilled with, but overall I give this a strong recommendation. This group is amazing, talented, and create music like I've never heard. It will get into you and you won't be able to let it go!

I first discovered Sweet Honey in the Rock when I was in High Shool, and heard their "Beattitudes" during a special on Martin Luther King Jr. I knew then that I wanted to hear more. This is one of my favorite CD's , and belongs in the collection of anyone that cares about music that matters both lyrically and spiritiually. I've never had a chance to hear them perform live, but the moment I get the opportunity I will be there!
