Summary: Rosanne Rocks! 2010-07-28
Comment: Not rocks in the musical sense but in the superlatives sense. This is a great collection of old time country songs. Her delivery is right on and the selection is varied. Her version of "Miss the Mississippi" turns that old song into something entirely new and fresh. I love this album!

Summary: I don't like country - but i love this album 2010-07-18
Comment: Country music is not my thing, when we drive cross country I'm constantly channel hopping to avoid the country stations. My wife bought me this album after hearing RC on NPR, and I have to admit that I loved it right from the off. RC's voice is really good and I heard quite a few songs I haven't heard before. Has it made me a country fan? No! But it has made me an RC fan.

Summary: Near Perfect 2010-06-15
Comment: This is my first Rosanne LP and I am blown away. I happened to score a ticket to see her show at the Moore in Seattle recently, and wow. Her Dad was spot on with the List. And Rosanne's elegant presentation of every song is spellbinding. On top of that, her guitar playing husband is silky smooth on the frets. He has a wonderful ability to be soft and melodic, with lot's of sweet fat notes. A lot like Amos Garrett and a little like Mark Knopfler. It does not get any better than that!

Summary: The voice of a real woman 2010-06-12
Comment: In this day and age of teeny bopper singers dominating even country music, it is great to hear wonderful songs being sung by a real woman. Cash is simply fantastic on this album. Teaming up with some stellar male partners, she offers a richly rewarding album.
