Summary: The Real Thing 2005-01-26
Comment: I've been a big fan of Tim Wilson for years, since the release of his first major release "Tough Crowd." To me, he's the best comedian around. I've loved just about everything he's done and this one is no exception. The only real problem I have with this album is that I expected an album titled "The Real Twang Thang" to have a great deal more music in country style. He delves into more lounge type music. Still, the songs are great and hilarious, but the stand up routines are even better, some of his best work in a while. "Messing With the Crowd" delivers some of the best cutdowns I've heard. "Youngsters" says it all about growing up in America these days. "The History of Rock" explains exactly how I feel about the state of the music industry today. Just a really good album.
