Comment: I WAS WORKING IN LA. I HAPPEN TO HEAR A WONDERFUL TUNE CALLED "KNOCKING ON HEAVEN'S DOOR" ON A DOWNTOWN LA. STREET. I COULD NOT LEAVE BECAUSE THE MUSIC WAS SO OVERPOWERING TO ME. THEN WHEN HE FINISHED PLAYING THE SONG THEY BOTH BEAU & MICHELLE WALKED TO ME AND ASKED IF I LIKED THE SONG. I BOUGHT THAT RECORD THAT NITE AND STILL TO THIS DAY AMAZE MY FRIENDS WITH MUSIC. THATS NOT BAD FOR A ELECTRICIAN THAT WAS PARALYZED FOR YEAR THAT PICKED HIS DAD'S ACCORDION UP TO PAST TIME. I'M SO GLAD THAT FOUND YOU THAT NITE AND WILL FOREVER BE GREATFUL FOR YOU ALL. Comment: This is the first Zydeco CD I have ever purchased,and it won't be my last. This is the best birthday gift I ever bought myself. Now that I have fallen in love with Beau I am going to purchase all his other CDs.His music is true zydeco and is fast, upbeat, and happy. You will find your feet moving and your fingers snapping. Beau Jocque ROCKS!

Summary: I loved this cd 2000-07-12
Comment: This was a great cd because it brings back a lot of memories. I am from the Pine Point community (Mamou,La) so it really hit home. Andrus (Beau Jocque) was my second cousin and his passing just broke my heart. Actually all of his music that he's ever recorded has been "off the hook". As a matter of fact since I've been away from home I listen to his music all of the time. It just makes me feel at home even though I'm not at home. Thanks Andrus for making me and all of your fans learn to appreciate good music again. You will be sadly missed. Much love, Melissa

Comment: I think this album was good. I didn't like everytrack, but the majority was good. My favorite songs are "I'm so tierd of you doing me wrong," and "PineY Point trail." Beau Jocque (Andrus Espree) was an exceptional accordion player, and he will be missed. From the BOSSHOG BABY! (L-TOWN LOVE) while i'm here i might as well give a shout out to my people who might see this. All my aunties and uncles in Lake Charles and surrounding areas and to My boy ALOICIOUS in tyrone. Saving the best for last to my girl SAAB who is moving to Lake Charles this summer I"MMA miss you. I'll holla!

Summary: awsome !! typical Beau Jocque 1999-09-16
Comment: I was very saddened on hearing about the sudden death of this great Zydeco giant. I have gone to hear him play at dance halls in Port Arthur, Texas and at Port Arthurs annual Mardi Gras. He will be greatly missed by zydeco enthusiast. My condolences to his family. Sincerly, Clarence Thomas,Sr.
